Facer Park
The Ohio State Alumni Club of Erie County maintains Facer Park in downtown Sandusky, Ohio as a service/community project. We plant, weed, and fertilize the park in cooperation with the City of Sandusky. It is located near the shores of Lake Erie.
Facer Park is a tribute to Sandusky’s active involvement with the Underground Railroad during the post-civil war days. It is a wonderful tribute to the diversity of Sandusky, Ohio with a sculpture and fine gazebo.
